Hi! My name is Samantha.

I am 18 and for now I live on Orcas Island in the Puget Sound north of Seattle and just south of the border with Canada. I live here with my parents, my two dogs Cosmo and Max, as well as my cats Tiger and Autumn. Autumn is my best friend. He is the one glowering in the picture. If all goes well I will graduate from high school this month (June).

I love languages and I want to travel all over the world. For now I am of course fluent in my native English. I know French well after four years of study and I absolutely love that language. I have studied Spanish for a couple of years and touched on Mandarin Chinese for a year. I want to go on to learn lots of languages and to immerse myself in language as a science and an art.

I also love to create art. Whether with a paint brush, a pencil, pastels, camera, a computer or whatever. So if you have any projects in mind that can use my language, writing or art skills just let me know. Especially if that involves foreign travel.
